Every Neighbor host is ID-verified and backed by up to $1M in liability coverage. For extra protection, renters can also opt into a Property Protection Plan at checkout. Note: If a renter decides to forgo PPP at checkout, they’ll need to upload proof of an active RV insurance policy. We also encourage renters to use their best judgment when booking and visiting a space. Pro tip: If you’re storing a Class A motorhome or a fifth-wheel camper that’s large enough to house your family of six, you’ll need to filter for spaces ranging from 40 to 45 feet long. We also recommend booking a space with pull-through access for easy entry and exit–no spotter required.

Switch over to your tow vehicle, and store your RV with Neighbor. No matter your travel plans, the rented space is yours for the entire month. Yes! You can absolutely park your RV on a gravel, dirt, or grass lot if you take the necessary precautions. Spaces in unpaved lots are not only more spacious but also more likely to offer pull-through access, ideal for larger Class A and Class C RV models.

When parking your RV in a lot without gravel, it’s recommended that you invest in RV leveling blocks and ground mats.

Storing your RV in an unpaved parking space doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice coverage or protection. To filter spaces in by size or exposure, use Neighbor’s filters, then press “Show Spaces.”

It depends on the width, length, and height of your RV! Some teardrop trailers, pop-up campers, and small travel trailers are compact enough to fit in a standard residential or commercial garage.

Be aware that some commercial parking garages impose restrictions on recreational vehicles in general, regardless of their height or size. These commercial hosts will specify in the “vehicle restrictions” section of the listing that they do not allow RVs, campers, or other oversized vehicles if said policies are in effect, so be sure to review the listing description carefully before submitting a reservation request.

On Neighbor, payment is hassle-free! Just create a Neighbor account and connect your preferred payment method (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards are all accepted). Once you select a space and submit a reservation request, a preauthorization hold will be placed on the funds in your account until the reservation is approved. Once approved, your card will be charged immediately. Thereafter, you’ll be charged on the first day of each successive monthly rental period. Most reservations are renewed on the same day each month (E.g., if a reservation started on the fifth day of the month, you’ll be charged on the fifth day of each successive month). Once you’ve removed your items and cancelled online, automatic payments will stop.

When you find the right space, click "Reserve space" to submit your request. You'll be prompted to enter what you're storing, a preferred start date, and your payment information.

Hosts have 24 hours to respond to your request. If you rent an instant-book space, your reservation will automatically be approved. Otherwise, you’ll be notified via email, SMS, and push notifications (if you have the Neighbor app) when a host responds to your pending request.
