That will depend on the length, width, and height of your vehicle! A standard parking space is about 9’x20’. If your car fits comfortably in a standard parking space, keep these dimensions in mind, especially if you plan to rent a storage unit or a residential parking space (e.g., a driveway, an unpaved lot, or a residential garage).

For oversized fleet vehicles, such as delivery vans, look for spaces that are at least 10’x30’. (Note: certain height restrictions may prevent you from parking your oversized vehicles in a parking garage or storage unit)

On Neighbor, payment is hassle-free! Just create a Neighbor account and connect your preferred payment method (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards are all accepted). Once you select a space and submit a reservation request, a preauthorization hold will be placed on the funds in your account until the reservation is approved. Once approved, your card will automatically be charged at the time of approval. Thereafter, you’ll be charged on the first day of each successive monthly rental period. Most reservations are renewed on the same day each month (E.g., if a reservation started on the fifth day of the month, you’ll be charged on the fifth day of each successive month). Once you’ve removed your items and cancelled online, automatic payments will stop.

When you find the right space, click "Reserve space" to submit your request. You'll be prompted to enter what you're storing, a preferred start date, and your payment information.

Hosts have 24 hours to respond to your request. If you rent an instant-book space, your reservation will automatically be approved. Regardless of the weather/time of year, it’s recommended that you change your oil, fill up your gas tank, and connect your car to a trickle charger before storing your vehicle. If the fuel in your gas tank is expected to sit unused for more than 30 days, we also recommend investing in a fuel stabilizer.
